As a charitable foundation, our mission is to:
- Help establish regenerative seafarms in the D'Entrecasteaux Channel that prove the potential of multi-trophic aquaculture.
- Engage every level of community, government, industry, education and research to advance the project's aims.
- Serve as an open-source resource and focal point for any person, community or business wanting to establish their own regenerative seafarm.
- Act as a living laboratory for sustainable aquaculture in Tasmania and beyond — guided by science and rooted in local stewardship.

Seafarming Australia is the charitable foundation behind the work. Where the operating company runs the farms, the foundation exists to grow the whole movement — through knowledge, science and advocacy.

Building skills, pathways and practical know-how so coastal communities can take up regenerative seafarming — through open resources, training and mentoring.

Partnering with and funding the science that makes regenerative aquaculture work — using our pilot sites as a living testbed for marine research and innovation.
